Top Attractions In Dublin

Popular Attractions From Jacobs Inn:

Guinness Storehouse:

There’s a reason it’s sold all over the world. There’s a reason you know its name. You couldn’t visit Dublin without a trip to the Guinness Storehouse. Take the self-guided tour and learn about the history of Guinness, how it’s brewed and end it all with a complementary pint up in the Skybar with beautiful views of all of Dublin. Sure it wouldn’t be Ireland without a pint of Guinness!

Kilmainham Gaol:

This year is the centenary celebration of the 1916 Rising in Ireland. Take the tour of the largest un-operational gaol in Ireland, where the leaders of the rising were executed causing the Irish Civil War that lead to our independence. Kilmainham Gaol is an unmissable piece of Irish history, and we at Jacobs Inn will be happy to tell you about all of the buses and trams that can take you there from right outside the hostel but we’ll try not to get too choked up with national pride.

Pub Crawl:

It’s no secret that Irish are fond of an old drink. And it’s no secret that the Backpackers Pub Crawl is one of the best in the world. So it would only make sense that Dublin’s Backpacker Pub Crawl will be the best pub crawl ever right? Right. With four top Dublin pubs, free shots, live music, drinking games and free club entry what more could you want? Ask downstairs at reception for tickets and party with the Irish!

Trinity College:

Visit Dublin’s historic Trinity College, one of the most prestigious universities in the world! Take the guided tour to find out about its famous alumni including Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker and Samuel Beckett. Also see the ancient Book of Kells. Or simply grab a few cans from the Pavilion Bar and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Only a 10 minute walk from Jacobs Inn through Dublin city centre, sorted!

Phoenix Park:

One of Europe’s largest city parks, Phoenix Park is not something to miss whenever the Sun does decide to shine on Dublin! It was initially set up as a deer reserve park so as you explore the different areas you’re likely to spot some free roaming wild deer! Perfect for picnics or just chilled days strolling around the park. Just a 10-15 minute tram ride from Jacobs Inn, get in touch with your natural side!
