5 Best Places In Dublin To Grab Coffee & Work

24/02/2017
You know how it is, you have a bundle of free time between meeting people and have some work to catch up on. In a city like Dublin with so many hidden gems, it's only too easy to jump to a Starbuck to try bust out your laptop. However, we know the city inside out and know all the best places to park up for a while. Now, we've done this based on location, WiFi, atmosphere and great quality coffee, the ultimate work juice!

The Dean

This trendy boutiqe hotel has a lot going for it. Firstly, the lounge downstairs is fully equipped with plugs and USB sockets so you really have all you need to get going. The coffee isn't the only thing on offer here as you have a fine selection of cocktails and teas available to you too. Located up on Harcout Street, you aren't far from all the action in Dublin 2. Check out The Dean here!

Bank of Ireland Innovation Lounge

We're not a massive fan of the banks in Ireland after the trouble over the last few years but if anything good has come from them, it's this. Now, they actually have two locations. One on Grafton Street and another in Grand Canal Dock where you can come in, make your own coffee and meet other innovators just like you. The central location on Grafton Street means you couldn't be any more central.

Dawson 37

The atmosphere here is amazing at night time but during the day, the food options are a great way to have a working lunch. Free WiFi that is pretty reliable and the coffee is up there with some of the best. Located on Dawson Street just across from the Mansion House, where the Lord Mayor lives, it's easy to find and a quirky locaiton for your meetings.

Dakota

South William Street has become a bit of a trendy hub in recent times. Some of the best bars and clubs in town all on one strip there is a hell of a lot going on. However, Dakota is an oasis in all this where you can see people meeting al the time and working away on their tech gadgets. Central location, food is great and WiFi is pretty decent.

Jacobs Inn Dublin

We might be biased on this one but with Full Circle Roasters having their flagship coffee joint in house, it's the best coffee in town. In terms of Jacobs Inn's supreme location you have the Luas, Bus Aras and Connolly station on the door step meaning you can go anywhere in a heart beat. A real travel hub. Work stations are available for you to plug your USB/plugs into and the WiFi is unlimited! Hey, you'll meet plenty of travellers from all over the world with interesting stories you won't find in any other cafe in town.
