Dublin’s BEST Pub Crawl – bar none! Our in-depth research involved crawling through every bar, lounge and dive in the city to make sure you got the best! Meeting up with backpackers from other Dublin Hostels, we set off from the Mercantile Pub every evening at 8pm.read more
Dublin’s first cinema was opened by the writer James Joyce in 1909, less than 1km from Jacobs Inn. Soon, Dubliners were talking about ‘going to the flicks’ – we have to have our own word for everything! Anyway, if the craic has you crocked, why not kick-back and relax with a movie – or flick – on the giant screen in our common room. Showtime is 9pm.
This is Dublin. There’s music EVERYWHERE, even right here in Jacobs Inn. Our regular and occasional gigs are quite a talking point among guests – many of whom treat us to their own performances.
