The FAQs

1. Is the hostel in the city centre?
If it was any closer, you’d be in the river Liffey! We’re beside the main Bus station (Busaras), just 2 minutes from Connolly Street train stations. The O’Connell Street and Henry Street shopping area is just 5 minutes’ walk away and Temple bar is about 12 minutes’ walk away. Mention the Luas??

2. Is breakfast included in the price?
A Light Continental breakfast is included in the price which includes brown or white toast, butter, jams, cereals, fruit cocktail, juice, tea and coffee and is served between 7:30 am-9.30 am daily. Slept in or want to make your own breakfast? Our self-catering kitchen which is open from 7am. If you’re looking for an “Irish Breakfast” ask at the desk and we’ll recommend a café nearby.

3. Are linen and towels included?
Bed linen is included and beds are made up ready for your arrival. Towels can be hired for €2 - private rooms have towels included.

4. What safe-keeping facilities are provided?
We offer small safes (large enough for cameras, documents, wallets etc.) at a daily rate of €2 plus a refundable key deposit of €10. We recommend this to everyone as we can’t be responsible for any items lost or stolen. Dormitories have underbed storage baskets with locks for purchase if required. Private rooms (1- 4 people) come with safes included.

5. Are left-luggage facilities provided?
Large lockers are provided in a secure luggage room, at a daily rate of €2 plus a refundable key deposit of €10. This is ideal if you arrive before check-in time and want to explore, or if you have to check-out before a late flight and want to do a last bit of exploring, without hulking your luggage around.

Families travelling with children under age of 16 are welcome but we ask that they book private rooms. Dormitories are not appropriate for family accomodation.

15. Can we bring Alcohol into the Hostel
First of all, you have to be over 18 to drink alcohol in the Republic of Ireland. If you are old enough, you may drink alcohol in kitchen /common areas – but not too much! Drinking is NOT allowed in dormitories and rooms.

16. Can we stay long term? (Max/Min Stay)

You are only able to book a maximum of 14 nights, online and directly as we are a short stay hostel. We also operate a min stay policy for some weekends/events. Should you wish to extend your stay this is entirely at the discression of management. Management also reserve the right to refuse admission.

Lastly, if you’re boozing while others are snoozing, show respect. Please keep the noise levels down between 11pm and 7am.
