Body & Soul – Ballinlough Castle, Clonmellon, Co. Westmeath, June 17-19:

Dublin’s premier music festival is back again for another year! This year’s line-up is of the best yet with headliners such as Kendrick Lamar, Major Lazer, The National, Run The Jewels, Father John Misty and Chvrches this is one of Ireland’s most varied music festivals.Smack bang in the middle of July you won’t get better weather for a festival in Ireland either. Electric Picnic – Stradbally Hall, Co. Laois September 2-4:

Electric Picnic has a reputation for being one of the best festivals in Europe and it fully lives up to it. It’s up there with giants like Glastonbury, Primavera and Rock am Ring and it’s not hard to see why, drawing some of the biggest and best acts in the world with one of the best atmospheres you can find at a festival. This year they’re bringing out the big guns with acts like LCD Soundsystem, New Order, Lana Del Rey, NAS and the 1975 rocking the house.
